on the morning of september 2, chinese president jinping xi delivered a video address to the 2023 china international fair for trade in services global summit in beijing.
jinping xi pointed out that at present, the century-old change is accelerating, and the world economic recovery is not driving force. service trade is an important part of international trade, and service industry is an important area of international economic and trade cooperation. global trade in services and cooperation in the service sector are developing in depth, digitalization, intellectualization and greening are accelerating, and new technologies, new forms and models of business are emerging in an endless stream, injecting strong impetus into economic globalization, restoring global economic vitality and enhancing the resilience of world economic development.
the jinping xi stressed that this year marks the 45th anniversary of china's reform and opening-up, and china will adhere to advancing high-level opening-up, comprehensively advancing chinese-style modernization with high-quality development, and providing new opportunities for opening-up and cooperation among countries. china is ready to work with all other countries to promote inclusive development through service opening-up, promote connectivity through service cooperation, foster growth momentum through service innovation, create a better future through service sharing, and put the world economy on the track of sustained recovery.
we will foster a more open and inclusive environment for development. we will expand the network of high-standard free trade zones open to the world, actively carry out negotiations on the negative list for trade in services and investment, open more service areas such as telecommunications, tourism, law and vocational examinations to the outside world, open more comprehensive demonstration zones and conditional pilot free trade zones and free trade ports in the national service sector, and take the lead in integrating high-standard international economic and trade rules. we will ease market access for the service sector, advance the process of opening up cross-border trade in services in an orderly manner, raise the level of standardization of trade in services, and steadily expand institutional opening-up.
we will strengthen the bond of win-win cooperation. we will enhance synergy between our development strategies and cooperation initiatives with other countries, deepen cooperation on trade in services and digital trade with countries that jointly build the belt and road, facilitate the cross-border flow of various resources and factors of production, and foster more growth areas for economic cooperation.
we will strengthen the path of innovation-driven development. we will accelerate the cultivation of new driving forces for the digitalization of trade in services, promote the pilot reform of data infrastructure systems, and promote the reform and innovative development of digital trade. we will establish a national voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction trading market and support the service sector in playing a bigger role in green development. we will promote integrated development of trade in services with modern services, high-end manufacturing, and modern agriculture to unleash more innovation.
